Boxing enthusiasts from all over the world will be flocking to Madison Square Garden in New York on the 3rd of December 2011. This is the day of the Boxing Super Welterweight WBA World Championship match between Miguel Cotto and Antonio Margarito. If you live in Argentina and have been able to buy tickets, the time has come to make your travel arrangements, of course.
Travelling from Argentina to New York is best done from Buenos Aires, so you will have to make your way over there if you live outside of the capital. Only one flight per days leaves from Buenos Aires and is offered by American Airlines. The flight leaves at 9.15pm and arrives in New York at 6.00am. This is a 10 hour and 45 minutes flight. There is only a two hour time difference between Buenos Aires and New York, so feel free to sleep through the flight without being worried about jetlag.
As long as you are in New York for this fantastic fight, you may want to consider extending your stay a little bit and visit some of the many fantastic sites New York has to offer. You could go on an expensive shopping trip, or on a cheap shopping trip for that matter. There are many malls and outlets that stock a variety of clothes, shoes, bags, cosmetics and electronic gadgets, so there really is something to suit every taste.
Of course, you don’t have to go to New York for the shopping, there are many other interesting things available, whether you interested in culture, history, finance or nature. You can enjoy the vibrant nightlife, fantastic food from Michelin Star restaurants or corner street vendors, or a relaxing time strolling through Central Park. It is all up to you, but you are sure to have a brilliant time.
There is no problem if you can’t make it to the fight. Just watch a boxing live stream and you will see all the drama unfold!
