If you were to look at a globe of the earth, just twelve degrees north of the equator in the Caribbean Sea, you would find the island of Grenada. It is said that Grenada is the least spoiled of all the islands in this region and contrary to popular belief, this island is peace-loving and peaceful. Grenada offers a green lushness with its vibrant plant life in colors taken straight from the rainbow.

Anyone who makes plans to take a holiday here will find pleasant low to mid eighties to be the average temperature and the breeze from the prevailing easterly trade winds blows almost constantly.  The people who live here are extremely friendly and they welcome visitors with open arms.  The dry season runs from January to May and the rest of the year is considered the rainy season.
Because of its location, it is spared the annual tropical storm season. Only in 2004 was their fifty year record of being hurricane free broken when hurricane Ivan struck.
