Sunny Prague

When you think of the Czech Republic images of sunny beaches and people wearing loose clothes and sandals probably aren’t the first thing you think of. And you’re right about the beaches, but it does get really hot there. And there are a lot of fun things to do in the Summer in Prague, if you’re up for it.

The major appeal of that old city is just how cheap it is. Cheap hotels are easy to find and, once you leave the tourist center of town, food and beverages are equally cheap, although they might come at the price of someone being rude to you and not speaking English. But like I said, there’s a lot you can do.

Asides from walking around and enjoying the beautiful scenery, you can engage in a lot of activities. There’s a modern water park right outside the city that’ll guarantee a fun afternoon for you and your family, especially if you have kids. Also fun is the city zoo, voted one of the best in Europe. And for those of you more culturally inclined, you’ll find a lot of interesting museums and exhibitions, including a world famous toy museum with some true rarities.
